Still Waters
He leads me beside quiet waters
Sheep will not drink from fast
moving water. If we are rushing around we will not be able to drink from
the fountain of living water. We need time to be still in our busy lives;
be quiet and drink deeply from God's life giving word, so that rivers of
living waters will flow out of our inner most being.
Not only will we be fed and
watered but our lives will overflow to those around us. He leads me beside
quiet waters. Waters of rest. When you spend time with the Lord in His word,
knowing that there is nothing you will face this day that He does not know
about, there is a peace and quietness that settles in your soul.
